Multi-day “Mini-camp” Programs Each Summer

Become an environmental scientist on
Program
Summary:
Campers will spend each morning exploring the
human and natural history of
Typical
Day:
8:30-9:00am Warm-up activity and
discussion; lay out the day’s plans.
9:00am-12:00pm Board M/V Haendel. Over the course of the cruise,
we’ll likely:

Visit several points on the
lake, for water and biological testing, etc.
·
Stop at a shoreline
location to stretch legs, etc.
·
Have a mid-morning snack
(bathroom is available on-board.)
12:00-12:30pm Wrap-up and planning for
the next day.
12:30 pm Campers are
picked up

Ages: Entering 5th
grade or above
Program Fee: $200 (Scholarships are available on a needs-based scale.)
